Acceptable Use Policy

BeyondTranslate is a translation tool for reading, learning, writing, and professional workflows. This policy applies to the official app, website, and services we operate, including LLM-backed translation of text, screenshots, and documents.

Use content you have the right to process, comply with applicable law, and follow the terms and acceptable use policies of each translation or AI provider you configure.

• Creating, translating, requesting, or distributing sexually explicit or pornographic content, including erotic roleplay and non-consensual sexual content.
• Any sexual exploitation, sexualization, or abuse of minors, including fictional or AI-generated depictions.
• Content that facilitates violence, terrorism, human exploitation, or other illegal activity.
• Fraud, phishing, impersonation, malware, targeted harassment, or threats.
• Processing or disclosing private information without authorization, or infringing copyright or other rights.
• Bypassing provider safety controls, abusing credentials, or using the service to evade this policy.

Sexually explicit and pornographic content is prohibited in the app’s LLM-backed translation and generation features. BeyondTranslate is not intended for adult entertainment, erotic chat, or the creation of sexual content. This prohibition applies to both prompts and requested outputs, including requests framed as translation.

This is a usage prohibition, not a claim that every request is automatically filtered. The current app does not apply a universal content moderation filter across all user-configured cloud providers and local models. Providers may apply their own safety filters and refuse requests; their behavior varies. We do not guarantee that prohibited content will always be detected or blocked.

You are responsible for the material you submit and how you use translations. AI output may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate. Review outputs before relying on them or sharing them, especially in medical, legal, financial, or other consequential contexts.

The app processes content through the services or local models you select. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so and understand the selected provider’s data handling practices.

Report abuse or policy concerns to support@beyondtranslate.com. Include the app version, provider or model involved, and a description of the issue. Do not email illegal material or another person’s sensitive information.

We review reports and may restrict access to services we operate for policy violations, subject to applicable terms and law. Local app use is not centrally monitored, and we cannot control every independently configured provider or local model. We may update this policy and will publish the revised date on this page.
